The activity report 1987 of the ECMT is presented. General transport policy in Europe is followed by trends in the transport sector 1970 - 1986. A special part of the report is dedicated to resolutions on freight transport markets, dangerous goods data bases, international standards in information exchange, transport for disabled people, road- vehicle communication, and road safety of children.
