Samenvatting

Time series analysis of seven years of data from the Fatal Accidenet Reporting System (FARS) shows some interesting seasonal and long term trends. The number of bicyclist accidents is essentially a seasonal phenomenon with little long-term change. Motorists and pedestrian accidents are also largely seasonal, but have increased in number overall for the seven years available for study. Bicycle accidnets can be modeled as a function of motorist and pedestrian accidents.
