Samenvatting

Signalling capacity of conventional flat experimental curved markers were compared under three inspection times (100msecs,500msecs and 2000msecs). Curved markers were reliably superior at angles representing traffic intersections of 11.25, 22.50, 33.75, 45.00, 56,25 and 67.50 degrees for all exposure times. Flat markers were superior at none of the intersecting angles. The superiority of curved markers over conventional flat markers is therefore not affected by inspection time.
