Samenvatting
Working on the results of a recent study of the survival times of persons fatally injured in road accidents, the authors investigate the problems of the influences on time length of survival and the resulting questions relating to the comparability of national and international statistics. They show the problematic nature of such a comparison in the case of non-compatible structures, concluding that previous assumptions on this subject must be revised.
