Data analysis of real-life driving experiments is complicated by the multitude of driver, vehicle, and environmental variables. As an aid to overcome this problem a tool is suggested for time-synchronized presentation of video and numerical data on a high definition computer monitor. Data are displayed as graphs against time and as icons which change in real time according to changes of the measured values. The analyst would thus be able to recognize patterns related to interactions within the driver-vehicle environment system, to classify typical "tasks". And thereby to prepare qualitatively an effective quantitative data analysis.
