A full-scale vehicle crash test was performed on the modified ARA- TOR- SHOK energy absorbing barrier and on the ARA- ROTO- SHOK energy absorbing barrier. While the first barrier did not redirect as intended, and other modifications are needed, the latter performed as intended and redirected the vehicle with only superficial damage to both.
