This report is the final report of the PROLOGUE project. It provides a concise overview of the main findings of the project in its aim to assess the usefulness and feasibility of a large-scale European Naturalistic Driving (ND) study. Successively, the report discusses the most important information about and characteristics of: • The ND approach in comparison to more traditional research methods; • Previous experiences; • Small-scale ND studies in PROLOGUE; • Potential application areas and potential users; • Equipment and other technological requirements; • Methodological considerations; • Legal and ethical issues; • Recommendations for a large-scale ND study. Each section concludes with suggestions for further reading, including the references to the PROLOGUE Deliverables.
