Samenvatting
Written in an straightforward style, with a minimum of mathematics, the book examines tracking and the underlying motor skills in detail, raging from the common task of reaching for an object to the complexities of flying an airplane. It explores the design and evaluation of experiments and methods of scoring and shows how the principles of skilled performance are derived from the study of simple tracking tasks. These same principles are then related to more complex tracking tasks, and a number of novel conclusions result.
