Traffic calming update (1992-1994) : a selection of abstracts added to the TRL Library Database during the above period.

This international bibliography updates the 1990-1992 edition (see ST 921459) and includes abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles on the reduction of traffic speed and congestion by means of such measures as 20 mph zones, speed control humps, speed cushions, park and ride schemes etc. Specific traffic calming schemes are described in locations in the UK (e.g., Oxford, the New Forrest, historic towns) and all over the world. The items have been selected from the material added to the Transportation Research Laboratory's Library Database between 1992 and 1994.
