Samenvatting

The capacity of a city centre is determined by the wide of the streets leading to the centre. The capacity of a street is the maximum numbers of cars which, under ideal conditions, in one hour can pass a section of the street. In all cities is a growing need for increase of the area of shops and offices. But due to the fact that parking spaces can not be built everywhere, new shopping areas and offices can be built better outside the existing cities.
