Samenvatting

A traffic study that uses aerial photography to determine vehicle speeds, volumes and accumulations on a urban freeway is described. Statistical analyses were made to determine the reliability of the aerial techniques compared to the conventional data collection procedures. Cost comparisons were documented in order to indicate the economic feasibility of each method.
