Samenvatting
This report from Volvo Traffic Safety Research is devoted to experience gleaned from road accidents involving collisions with selected objects in the traffic environment. The report shows that a significant proportion of these collisions, which caused serious personal injury, were against objects off the actual road. Trees and heavy lamp posts are the type of object involved in most of these cases of personal injury.
