Samenvatting

Recent research has made it possible to define the interface requirements of electronic sensors independently of the characteristics of the loop and its associated environment. This paper describes the development of a traffic flow simulator which was designed to permit repeatable testing of sensors with realistic representations of conditions found in practice.
