Samenvatting
In connection with the installation of an automatic control system in front of an upgrade section on a German motorway of gradient, investigations have been made analyzing traffic flow at and in front of this bottleneck situation. The object of the investigation was to determine how the geometry of this road section effects traffic flow under divers input conditions.
