Traffic lights and cyclists; the Delft project, new developments.

The policy with reference to the application of traffic signals for the benefit of cyclists is explained. The complete cycle traffic plan and especially the intersections where traffic signals were considered the appropriate solution are reviewed. The applied solutions illustrated by means of situation maps and the used signal control techniques is described.
