Samenvatting
The present paper deals with road condition effects on traffic safety. It presents results of long term research of road pavement property effects on the traffic accident rate and gives analysis of road pavement and traffic accident dependence. This derived dependence may be utilized for practical purposes when projecting and planning maintenance of roads and motorways, which can positively affect the traffic accident rate.
