Samenvatting
The road Research Laboratory is using a Marconi Myriad digital computer to control 81 traffic signals in the centre of Glasgow. This paper was prepared for the Symposium of Process Control Software organised by the Institute of Measurement and Control in July 1969. The paper describes some of the method used to test the program, including hardware devices which have proved useful. Some general comments on the advantages and disadvantages of the methods adopted are given.
