Samenvatting
Recently developed traffic signals which channel their beams so as to be visible only to drivers intended to see them, are described and illustrated. The signals can be beamed with an accuracy of ±7. inches at 900 ft. The key element is a flat incremental lens sealed in acrylic. This in combination with a glass element controls what the motorist sees.
