Traffic surveillance and control in the Mont Blanc tunnel.

Details are given of the equipment used for traffic control, road patrols and fire service, toll collection and safety measures concerning traffic density vehicle headway and speed. The effect of the tunnel surroundings on the psycho-physiological reflexes of drivers is discussed.
