On all sides a plea is hold for measures to stimulate the change from car use to public transport. Application of transferia is such a measure. A transferium is a point of exchange between the public transport system and the car system. A global estimation shows that transferia can reduce substantially the number of car kilometers, if the transferia are applied on the right location.
