TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2217 consists of 20 papers that explore travel behavior and demand potential of tram- and bus-based neighborhoods, impact of gasoline prices on transit ridership, cost-effective approaches to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through public transportation, predicting the mean and variance of transit segment and route travel times, complexity of transit tours, real-time transit information, and cost-effectiveness of employment transportation services.
