An economic summary is presented of the public transport options for the Luton Dunstable corridor. These consist of a busway, light rail, and two heavy rail options (Thameslink and a diesel shuttle). The key features of theproposed Luton Dunstable Translink guided busway are outlined and the Translink busway is compared and contrasted with other existing UK guided busways in Ipswich, Leeds, Bradford and Crawley.
