Samenvatting
The Secretary of State for Local Government and Regional Planning looks ahead at future transport developments and their possible effect on the environment. The problems of noise and air pollution are briefly referred to, and the following transport systems described: dual-mode bus, travelators, Cabtrack, dial- a- bus, rapid transit and alternatives to the internal combustion engine.
