This report has been prepared for the Dangerous Goods Branch of the Department of Transport. It has been prepared to assist with the decision-making process in deriving a uniform policy for the transport of dangerous goods through road tunnels in the UK. It examines the risks of taking these goods through tunnels and also the consequences of this should be identified risks become reality. (A)
