This issue of Current Topics includes over 80 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on the topic of transport information and the internet. Abstracts are included on the wide variety of transport information available on the internet such as public transport timetables and ticketing. Also included are abstracts on in-car internet facilities, transport information available on mobile phones (WAP) and abstracts looking at the technology behind these features. These items have been selected from the material added to the TRL Library Database between 1997 and 2000. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
