Samenvatting
In the first part of the framework of the Dutch Integral Transportation Study is given and the position of the defining of the road network is pointed out. In the second part, the transport network optimization problem is stated formally and the algorithm devised to solve this problem is described. In the third part the application of the method to the optimization of the Dutch road network is described.
