This compendium provides summary information on the outputs of the Transport Research Knowledge Centre, which is an electronic hub developed by the EXTR@Web project and funded by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy and Transport (DG TREN). In particular, it provides an overview of transport research carried out at European, international and national level including a directory of programmes, a summary of thematic research carried out at national level and information on the 28 thematic research summaries and 8 policy brochures produced by the EXTR@Web project. It is compiled as a primary information source for policy makers and research managers at European, national and local levels, and is designed to alert readers to the wealth of information that can be gleaned from the webbased Transport Research Knowledge Centre.
