Samenvatting

Through an analysis of the urban transport problems in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone (SEZ) where car traffic is just following what happened in western countries, the authors put a series of transport strategy and policy into practice to boycott the car flooding motorization process, and attempt to realize `sustainable' development. Theory of post-car traffic is used. Attention is paid to public transport and park-and-ride system, control and use of the 'unit' or company cars, parking, etcetera. (A) The French title of this paper is: "Sur stratégie de transport durant motorisation urbaine en Chine : cas de Shenzhen".
