Economic activity, centralized in the railway age, is now becoming decentralized again in the present multimodal transport age. In this book the long term effects of revolutionary changes in Transportation are analyzed. Among the factors affected are the location of industry, systems of trading, geographical living patterns and patterns of leisure.
