Samenvatting

This paper describes how providing mobility for the disabled is a very complex issue. The variety and diversity of requirements are so great that no single transportation option could solve the variety of problems currently being encountered. Canada has come a long way but there are still some barriers that have to be overcome, and no law can overcome changes in attitudes to the introduction of new technologies. A better understanding willcertainly contribute to improved transportation for the disabled.
