Samenvatting
In addition to safety concerns, the driving environment provides the opportunity to cross-over into an environmental research concern. Choosing transport modes, reducing vehicular use, increasing use of more sustainable travel modes, and so forth are all worthy research avenues explored in this chapter. Driving impacts the environment and there is much to learn from both safety and global resource perspectives. (Author/publisher)
