This booklet provides information on key transport trends in Europe from 1970-2003, covering the 43 full Member countries of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport, seven associate countries (Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, Mexico New Zealand and the USA) and one observer countries (Morocco). Data and analyses are provided on the economic environment in 2003, road and rail freight transport, passenger transport by public and private vehicles, and road safety.
