This booklet provides information on key transport trends from 1970-2004, covering the 43 full Member countries of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport, seven associate countries (Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, Mexico New Zealand and the USA) and one observer country (Morocco). Data and analyses are provided on the economic environment in 2004, road, rail and pipeline freight transport, passenger transport, private car transport and road safety.
