TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2402 consists of eight papers that examine truck impact hazards for interstate overpasses; experimental microsimulation modeling of road safety impacts of bus priority; fatigue level and driving performance of professional drivers; and, turbo-roundabouts. This issue also explores intersection capacity, safety, and emissions; noncompliant driver behavior at single-lane roundabouts; construction of double-lane roundabouts; managing peak period demands for roundabouts in the United States; and, use of roundabouts versus two-way stop control at rural high-speed intersections.
