Samenvatting
The aim of the conference was two- fold. First the conference provided a forum for public participation in the preparation of the reports to Congress, written by the NHTSA. Second, the congres yielded a written record, these proceedings, of the views of nearly 300 participants in the areas of heavy truck braking, handling, stability, crashworthiness and occupant protection.
