Samenvatting
The report outlines the road sector development in the past two decades and the National Expressway System development program as well as the institutional reform and application of advanced technology of pavement management system in road asset management and maintenance, including overload control, safety program and environmental protection measures in the road sector development. Also presented in the report are challenges arising fromrapid urbanization development which demand more institutional reform andcapacity building to improve land use and to achieve integrated transportsystem planning.
