Samenvatting

The Tufty Club is a national organization aiming to give pre-school children some basic safety education. Postal questionnaires related to road safety in general and the Tufty Club in particular were sent to head teachers, playgroup leaders and road safety officers. An analysis of replies shows that all the respondents thought children should be taught how to cross roads before they reach six years of age.
