The first highway Electronic Toll Collection system in Turkey, OGS, is ready for country-wide operation. The system is expected to reduce the number of personnel required, reduce long queues, and prevent potential frauds by eliminating cash transactions. This paper summarises the system architecture and administrative issues such as tariff schemes, penalties and customer services used in OGS. (A*)
