Samenvatting
A nationwide research into the traffic safety conditions at 803 junctions in Norway, is described. The aim of the study has been to provide basic information about the influence of traffic flows, methods of control and junction design on the traffic safety conditions. Main tasks of the study have been (1) to conduct accident risk studies; and (2) to conduct before and after studies of the effect on traffic safety of changes in design of method of control.
