Underride/override of automobile front structures in intervehicular collisions. Volume 2: Car-to-car head-on impacts.

This report presents the findings from studies aimed at reducing damage of head-on collisions between cars which result from incompatibility of their forward energy absorbing structures. Vehicle and occupant dynamic responses obtained in the tests are also presented and analyzed.
