Samenvatting
A sample survey has been carried out on 40 different vehicle brakes of the four principal types to examine the influence of speed on the braking efficiency. A roller brake tester was used. The results showed that braking efficiency at speeds below 20 km/h can considerably differ from the braking efficiency that is obtained at speeds of 30 km/h or more.
