Samenvatting
The accident occurrence on motorway intersections in West Germany is compared with the accident occurrence on the free sections of the road. The correlation between the number of accidents and the traffic densities at cross sections is given. Research methods for the judgement of traffic safety for the different lay-out of junctions are outlined.
