The papers in this volume deal with various facets of unmodified and modified asphalt binders. In the first five papers efforts are described related to the laboratory characterization of asphalt binders. The next five papers discuss work related to the characteristics of modified asphalts. The last paper describes the results of field trials of two antioxidants in Australia.
