Samenvatting

A statistical investigation and a psychological analysis showed behaviour to be related to age and sex. The traffic situations were related to age. The pedestrians were the most frequently injured, generally on straight stretches, followed by cyclists and moped riders, generally at intersections. More than half the injured had behaved correctly. Most of the vehicle drivers were men aged 15-79, more than half not having a (recently acquired) drivers licence.
