Samenvatting
This report contains an investigation concerning possibilities to improve the working conditions of drivers of long-distance haulage. The extention of the network for goods traffic is an important step foreward in this decade. How will these developments effect the drivers and their mobile working place ? The report includes guidelines for the improvement of the on-the-road situations of and services for truck drivers following a networking of freight transport. The proposals relate to trends in large-scale and small-scale networking as well as to the developments of logistics centers.
