Samenvatting
Research and development concerning the relation between subjective and objective risks of accident was developed. In this report the following aspects of the problem area are investigated (1) A review of different methods for measuring objective risks focusing on the applicability of these methods for the purpose of the project (2) Drivers knowledge about and attitudes to risks in traffic (3) A presentation of different methods for studying risk taking and the results obtained with these methods, and (4) A review of different methods for measuring subjective accident risk.
