Data related to the urban/rural split of travel are analysed for all trips and vehicle miles of travel made in private motor vehicle on a designated travel by place of residence or traveller location of travel, and trip purpose. Tables show the proportion of vehicle miles of travel generated by urban residents which remained with the boundaries of their urban area identified as the home urban area.
