U.S. research program on driver education. Paper presented at the Second Conference of Governmental Experts on Road Safety Education in Schools held at Vienna, 21-25 June, 1971.

In an effort to solve some of the problems on driver education with the aid of a driving simulator a research program was set out with two central objectives: 1) to improve driver education programs in the U.S.A. and 2) to determine clearly and with scientific validity the benefits derived from such programs.
