Samenvatting
During the past few years European countries have been working towards producing safer road vehicles. Regulations aimed at improving vehicle safety and reducing occupant injury have been introduced and there are now planned legal requirements governing the safe handling qualities of a vehicle. The present study investigates what sort of accidents are likely to depend on vehicle handling and how a car's behaviour might contribute to causing these accidents.
