Samenvatting
To overcome the disadvantages of analysers which suffer from a long response time due to the sample cell volume required and their need to use an optical filter to restrict the absorption characteristics of the detector to a narrow bandwidth, a monchromatic beam of radiation should be used. For this a helium-neon laser infrared gas analyser is constructed, and its mode of operation is described.
